Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours
Monitor and interpret ECG cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations
Document and track hours worked using the designated workforce management platform
Complete pre-start and annual facility modules as required for the specialty
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 18 months of permanent Medical Surgical / Telemetry experience prior to travel
Active permanent Ohio RN license or valid Compact State license in hand at time of submission
Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications in hand at time of submission (no pending certifications accepted)
Willingness and ability to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start date
One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (maximum of 2 attempts)
Preferred Experience / Skills
18 months of Med/Surg Telemetry experience within a single facility location
Prior travel nursing experience with familiarity in compliance-driven health system environments
Charge RN experience (Charge RN references are accepted)
