Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | 3x12-hour shifts (4x12 accepted) | 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM | Every other weekend required | Holidays required as scheduled | 8-week assignment
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during day shift hours
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Float within the specialty, to sister units, and to lower acuity areas as needed
- Adhere to all facility policies, compliance requirements, and scheduling expectations including holidays
Required Qualifications- Active Maryland RN license or valid Compact RN license at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry RN experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association only
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association only
- CPI certification – Calm Every Storm online version is the only acceptable online vendor
- NIH Stroke Scale certification
Preferred Experience / Skills- First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply
