Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Holidays as Needed | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to a primarily Medical Surgical patient population on a telemetry-capable unit
Care for patients with respiratory conditions, general medical surgical diagnoses, diabetes (including new diabetics and complication-related cases), surgical and surgical observation patients, palliative, end-of-life, hospice, and psychiatric observation patients
Utilize the EPIC electronic health records system for documentation and patient management
Float to other facility campuses as needed based on staffing requirements
Participate in onboarding modules and complete all compliance requirements prior to start date
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during onboarding (two attempts permitted; no study materials provided)
EPIC electronic health records experience required
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates accepted); current driver's license required to confirm address
Preferred Experience / Skills
Previous experience as a Charge RN
