Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | 3x12 Hours (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Every Other Weekend | Holidays as Needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to a primarily Medical Surgical population, including observation patients, surgical patients, and surgical observation cases
• Manage patients with respiratory conditions, diabetes (including new diabetics and those with complications), palliative, end-of-life, and hospice needs, as well as psychiatric observation cases
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system for documentation and patient management
• Demonstrate competency in telemetry monitoring and EKG interpretation as required during onboarding
• Float to other facility campuses within the health system as needed
• Complete unit-based orientation modules as assigned during the onboarding period

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam during onboarding (2 attempts allowed)
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Current driver's license required to verify address; no local candidates within a 50-mile radius

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience as a Charge RN
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
