Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Holidays as Needed | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care for a primarily Medical Surgical population, including observation patients, surgical patients, and surgical observation cases
Manage patients with respiratory conditions, general medical surgical diagnoses, diabetes (including new diabetics and patients with diabetes-related complications), palliative care, end-of-life, and hospice needs
Monitor and care for psychiatric observation patients as assigned
Document all patient care activities accurately using EPIC EMR
Float to other campus locations within the health system as needed
Adhere to a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Must pass a compliance EKG exam during onboarding (2 attempts allowed)
EPIC EMR experience required
Must not reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility (local candidates not eligible)
Preferred Experience / Skills
Previous experience as a Charge RN
Background in telemetry or tele-capable unit settings
