Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM | No on-call requirement

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a busy Medical Surgical / Telemetry floor
• Monitor and assess patients requiring telemetry observation and medical-surgical interventions
• Float to other Med Surg / Telemetry units or low-acuity ICU settings as needed
• Accurately document patient care activities and clinical findings using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support positive patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license – Tennessee or compact state license required
• AHA BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry setting
• Epic EMR experience within the last 18 months required – must be clearly documented on submission profile, including where Epic was utilized; candidates must pass the Epic competency exam (one attempt only)
• All certifications must be active and in hand at time of submission
• Two supervisory references required at time of submission
• Local candidates are welcome and will be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Experience floating across multiple Med Surg or Telemetry units
• Familiarity with low-acuity ICU patient populations
