Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Weekends and holidays included | No on-call required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 42-bed Med-Surg Telemetry unit with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Care for a diverse patient population including Cardiac, Diabetes, CHF, COPD, Renal, General Surgery, and Orthopedics
• Demonstrate proficiency with Insulin, Heparin, and Lasix drips
• Float to IMCU or like/lesser acuity units as needed based on census
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including RNs, LPNs, PCTs, CNA/Unit Secretaries
• Maintain active ACLS and BLS certifications; CPI certification required

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission
• ACLS and BLS certifications required — must be active and in hand at time of submission
• CPI certification required
• Active license and all certifications must have no open or unresolved findings
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Med-Surg Telemetry setting
• Experience managing IMCU-level patients
• Familiarity with cardiac, renal, and post-surgical patient populations
