Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 24 Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an acute Medical Surgical unit with a concentration in general surgical, vascular, gynecological, colorectal, and trauma patients
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, recognizing and responding to changes in clinical status
• Perform and manage IV starts and maintenance as part of routine patient care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in accordance with facility standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical nursing
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Demonstrated experience with IV starts

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for vascular, colorectal, or trauma patient populations
• Familiarity with acute surgical unit workflows and post-operative patient management
