Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry setting across units including cardiac, spine, and neuro
- Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms, identifying and responding to lethal and critical arrhythmias
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Epic EMR
- Float to other units as needed based on operational requirements
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver safe, high-quality inpatient care
Required Qualifications- Active Wisconsin RN license or valid Compact RN license
- Minimum of two years of acute care inpatient RN experience within the last three years in Medical Surgical/Telemetry
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Proficiency with Epic EMR
- Must pass a Telemetry competency exam prior to start (adult and pediatric components; passing score of 80% or higher with 100% identification of lethal rhythms)
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working across multiple Med/Surg unit types, including cardiac, spine, and neuro
- Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation in both adult and pediatric populations
