Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit during night shift hours
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data for assigned patients
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with facility protocols and standards of care
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must hold a permanent Ohio license or a compact state license in hand at time of submission
Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
Active AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Active AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
All required certifications must be active and in hand at time of submission – no pending certifications accepted
One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment within the past 12 months is required
Preferred Experience / Skills
18 months of Med/Surg Telemetry experience obtained within a single facility
Demonstrated proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition
Prior travel nursing experience in a telemetry or medical surgical setting
