Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit during night shift hours
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data for assigned patients
- Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Complete required facility modules and competency assessments prior to and during contract
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or a Compact State license in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
- Active AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Active Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- No open background case findings or license hits
- Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments during orientation
Preferred Experience / Skills- 18 months of Med/Surg Telemetry experience obtained within a single facility
- Previous travel nursing experience in a telemetry or medical surgical setting
- References available from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director within the past 12 months
