Contract | Nights | 4x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36–48 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit within a short-term acute care, Level I Trauma Center environment
• Function within a team nursing model, collaborating with LPNs and medication nurses to manage a shared patient caseload
• Participate in on-call and weekend coverage as needed
• Adhere to unit protocols and maintain compliance with all facility and credentialing requirements
• Float to like units or campuses within the area on an as-needed basis

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Tennessee or a compact RN license compliant with NLC guidelines — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Surgical/Telemetry experience required (strictly enforced)
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Large hospital experience required
• At least one prior completed travel assignment required
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible — locals are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3 or more years of Medical Surgical/Telemetry experience preferred
• EPIC electronic health records experience preferred
• Candidates with 5 or more years of specialty experience may be considered for first-time travel assignments
