Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on Medical Surgical and Telemetry units
• Float between Telemetry and Medical Surgical Telemetry floors as assigned
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Adhere to facility policies, protocols, and standards of nursing practice

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of California (or compact equivalent accepted per facility requirements)
• Experience in Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry nursing
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Must not have been employed as a permanent or per diem staff member at a CommonSpirit facility within the past 12 months
• Must be able to prioritize this travel assignment as primary employment — secondary employment that conflicts with the assignment schedule is not permitted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry setting
• Comfort with floating across multiple units within the same facility
• Strong adaptability and ability to integrate quickly into new care environments
