Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with a 24-bed capacity
- Monitor and assess patients requiring telemetry and neurological observation
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using Epic EMR
- Float within scope of practice to other units or sister facilities as needed to meet census demands
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license – no pending licenses accepted
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry or Neurology
- Active BLS certification required
- Active NIHSS certification required
- Active ACLS certification required
- Willingness to float to sister facilities within the designated service area
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior travel nursing experience welcomed; first-time travelers are accepted
- Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system
- Experience in a high-census environment with consistent daily patient volumes
