TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Omaha, Nebraska, 68105!

Contract | Nights (4x12 Hours, 19:00–07:30) | 36 or 48 hour per week options available | 13 or 26 week contract options available | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care within a team-based care delivery model alongside LPNs, CNAs, and virtual nurses on a 40-bed non-specialty medical-surgical and telemetry unit serving adult patients (18+)
Manage a diverse patient population presenting with acute and/or chronic conditions including sepsis, respiratory illness, gastrointestinal disorders, endocrine conditions, cardiac disease, and post-bariatric procedures
Manage titratable drips, chest tubes, tracheostomies, complex wound care, high oxygen delivery systems, and end-of-life care
Float to other units within scope as needed to meet facility staffing needs
Adhere to weekend requirements: 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible within a 4-week period (Friday night and Saturday night for night shift)
Meet holiday coverage requirements, working 2 out of 3 designated major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's windows)
Required Qualifications
Active RN license (Nebraska license required; pending license accepted, though confirmed start date will be scheduled six weeks out if license is not in hand at time of submission)
Minimum 2 years of Telemetry experience, obtained at a large, urban hospital
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Experience managing titratable drips required
Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records required
Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience working in a Level I Academic Medical Center
Familiarity with team-based care delivery models involving multi-disciplinary staff including virtual nursing support
Experience floating across multiple unit types within a large acute-care hospital system
