TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Omaha, Nebraska, 68105!

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00) | 36 or 48 hours per week options available | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry units within a large, acute-care hospital setting
Administer and manage IV drips as required across all assigned floors
Float within scope to various units and potentially to a sister campus location to meet staffing needs
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team including CNAs, care techs, transport team, paramedics, and LPNs where assigned
Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation using EPIC electronic health records
Fulfill weekend shift requirements (Friday night and Saturday night for night shift) and work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's)
Required Qualifications
Active or pending Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska (pending license accepted; if not in hand at time of submission, start date will be scheduled six weeks out)
Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a large, urban hospital setting
BLS certification required
Proficiency with EPIC charting required
Ability to manage IV drips independently
Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
Preferred Experience / Skills
ACLS certification strongly preferred
Experience at a Level I Academic Medical Center
Background in specialty areas such as Neuroscience, Oncology, Trauma, Cardiac, Orthopedics, or Solid Organ Transplant
