    TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Omaha, Nebraska, 68105!

    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Trauma Unit)

    Omaha, NE

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract (13 or 26 week options available) | Days, 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:00) | 36 or 48 hour per week options available | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a fast-paced, 45-bed medical/surgical trauma unit serving hemodynamically and medically stable trauma patients
    • Care for patients admitted from the emergency department, transferred from the ICU, or admitted from surgical/procedural services, addressing both acute and chronic needs
    • Administer and manage IV drips as required across all floors
    • Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
    • Float within scope to other units and campuses as needed to meet facility staffing needs
    • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team including CNAs, care techs, transport team, paramedics, and LPNs where assigned
    Required Qualifications
    • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license (Nebraska license required; pending license accepted if not yet in hand at time of submission)
    • Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a large, urban hospital setting
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
    • Proficiency with EPIC charting system required
    • Competency with IV drip management required
    • Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience at a Level I Academic Medical Center may be considered in lieu of standard traveler experience requirements
    • Prior travel nursing experience in a high-acuity medical/surgical or trauma environment
    • Familiarity with trauma patient populations and multi-specialty float assignments
