Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and cardiac rhythms, including identification and response to dysrhythmias
• Float within scope to other units as needed to meet facility staffing needs
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June – November), as required by facility policy

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or a Compact RN license must be in hand prior to start date
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry nursing
• Demonstrated experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be considered at the standard rate; candidates within 60 miles may be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a community hospital setting
• First-time travel nurses will be considered
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
