Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5–6
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Epic electronic health records
- Rotate every other weekend as required by unit scheduling needs
- Float within scope to like units as needed to meet facility staffing demands
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry RN experience
- Active South Carolina RN license or valid Compact license must be in hand prior to start date
- Current BLS certification required
- Current ACLS certification required
- Demonstrated telemetry competency required
Preferred Experience / Skills- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHS) certification preferred
- Previous charge nurse experience preferred
- Community hospital experience preferred
