Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry in Orangeburg, SC

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Monitor and interpret telemetry, including dysrhythmia identification, using bedside monitors capable of telemetry, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry
• Float within scope of practice to other units as needed to meet facility staffing needs
• Collaborate with a 24/7 house supervisor and unit leadership to ensure safe, quality patient outcomes
• Participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June through November) if applicable

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry nursing
• Active South Carolina RN license or a Compact RN license must be in hand prior to start date
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Demonstrated experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records charting system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a community hospital setting
• First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply
