    Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Float Pool)

    Philadelphia, PA

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (0700–1930) | 3×12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week | Every other weekend required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide comprehensive patient care across multiple inpatient medical-surgical and step-down units, adapting to varying patient populations and unit workflows
    • Float between medical-surgical units and step-down units, as well as emergency department med-surg holds as needed
    • Function independently with strong clinical judgment while upholding all facility policies and safety standards
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with established documentation standards and medication safety protocols
    • Adhere to attendance expectations, including availability for days surrounding scheduled holidays
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg nursing experience (new graduates not eligible)
    • Current BLS certification
    • Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
    • Strong proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
    • Ability to float comfortably between multiple units with varying acuity levels
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Current ACLS certification
    • Current TNCC certification
    • Experience working in a float pool or multi-unit environment
