Contract | Days (0700–1930) | 3×12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week | Every other weekend required | Holiday availability required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg unit primarily serving GYN surgical patients, as well as bariatric and ENT post-op patients
• Adapt to a variable patient census with nurse-to-patient ratios ranging from 1:3 to 1:6 depending on unit needs
• Float to ICU or Med/Surg units as needed to fulfill appropriate Med/Surg assignments
• Maintain flexibility in patient care approach given the varied and evolving mix of GYN and surgical patient populations
• Adhere to all unit protocols within a 6-bed unit setting

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania or compact eligibility
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Ability to float between units and manage varying patient acuity levels
• Availability to work every other weekend and holidays as required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience preferred
• Experience with GYN, bariatric, or ENT post-operative patient populations
• Comfort working in a small unit environment with fluctuating census and patient assignments
