Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (0700–1930) | 3x12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week | Every other weekend required | Holidays as applicable

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for assigned patients under the direction of a licensed physician
• Apply the nursing process to collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver patient-centered care
• Provide care across multiple telemetry and medical-surgical units, including cardiac telemetry and surgical telemetry floors, as part of a float pool assignment
• Manage and monitor cardiac drips including Amiodarone, Nitroglycerin, and Cardizem
• Apply knowledge and skills related to stroke patient care, including NIHSS assessment
• Direct and supervise nursing support staff in accordance with standards of nursing practice and departmental policies

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry setting
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Current NIHSS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Experience with stroke patient care and familiarity with NIHSS scoring
• Comfort working across varied unit sizes and patient populations in a float capacity
