Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts | 19:00–07:30

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care primarily on the Medical Surgical unit, with float capability to the Telemetry unit as needed
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, care plans, and outcomes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient care
• Adhere to facility dress code and compliance standards throughout the duration of the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active and valid Registered Nurse (RN) state license required at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Telemetry competency required
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience preferred; first-time travelers will be considered
• COVID vaccination status required for submission
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry setting
• Ability to float between units and adapt quickly to varying patient populations
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced acute care environment
