Key Responsibilities
- Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Provide direct nursing care to patients on a Medical Surgical and Telemetry unit.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing care plans and communicating changes to the care team.
- Float within the same discipline to other units, including the Stepdown unit, as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC EMR.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois and Iowa required.
- Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience required.
- BLS certification (American Heart Association) required.
- ACLS certification (American Heart Association) required.
- Valid Driver's License required.
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission date required.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Stepdown or Cardiac nursing experience preferred, as floating to the Stepdown unit may be required.
- First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply.
