Key Responsibilities
- Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Deliver nursing care to Medical Surgical and Telemetry patients in accordance with established clinical standards.
- Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient information and care activities.
- May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support positive patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois RN license required; Iowa RN license required (or willingness to obtain upon placement).
- Minimum experience in Medical Surgical, Telemetry, or Step-Down nursing required.
- Some oncology experience required.
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification through AHA required.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a trauma center environment.
- Familiarity with charge nurse or preceptor responsibilities.
