Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Deliver direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with a 1:5–6 patient ratio
• Float within the same discipline to a Stepdown unit as needed
• Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities
• Participate in required orientation prior to beginning assignment per the facility's scheduled orientation dates
• Work 1–2 summer holidays as required (Memorial Day, Independence Day, or Labor Day)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois and Iowa
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Current ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Valid driver's license
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission date; resume, license verification, copy of certifications, and 1 supervisory reference required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Stepdown or cardiac nursing experience, given potential float to the Stepdown unit
• Experience with EPIC EMR
