Key Responsibilities- Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as a member of the interdisciplinary team
- Deliver direct nursing care to Med Surg and Telemetry patients in accordance with established standards and protocols
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and allied health professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care plans
- Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed
Required Qualifications- Active Illinois RN license required at time of submission; Iowa RN license required (or willingness to obtain upon placement)
- Minimum experience in Med Surg, Telemetry, or Stepdown nursing
- Some oncology experience required
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification through AHA required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working in a Level 1 Trauma Center environment
- Familiarity with charge nurse or preceptor responsibilities
- Valid driver's license
