Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Nights)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday
Key Responsibilities
- Perform EKG monitoring, IV insertion, and medication administration for assigned patients
- Conduct Foley catheter insertion, vital signs monitoring, and thorough assessment documentation
- Assist with rapid sequence intubation (RSI) as needed
- Perform point-of-care testing including blood glucose monitoring
- Manage a patient ratio of 1:6 within a 30-bed unit
- Float to other units within the facility as required
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1–2 years of Medical Surgical experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current NIHSS certification
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a Medical Surgical Telemetry setting
- Comfort with floating to multiple units in a fast-paced environment
