Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry in Seneca, SC

Contract | Days | 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Every other weekend coverage (may vary based on facility need)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to an adult and geriatric population with diagnoses including respiratory diseases, infections, dementia, and neurological conditions on a Medical Surgical unit
• Administer and manage medications using the Omnicell medication system
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR (minimum 1 year of EPIC experience required)
• Float to other units and/or campuses as needed based on census, performing only tasks within demonstrated and documented competencies
• Pass a facility-required EKG exam prior to or at the start of assignment
• Complete all required pre-assignment modules and annual compliance requirements within designated timeframes

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license required
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Surgical experience (candidates with 1+ year of relevant experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis)
• MS/Telemetry competencies required — must be able to float to MS/Tele floors if needed
• Minimum 1 year of experience with EPIC EMR
• Must reside more than 100 miles from all system facilities to be eligible at standard terms; candidates residing 90–99.9 miles away may be considered under modified terms; candidates under 90 miles are not eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for elderly patients with complex, multi-system disease processes
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and EKG interpretation
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry setting
