Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts | 36-Hour Weekly Guarantee

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 24-bed Medical Surgical unit with telemetry capability on all beds — heavy telemetry focus
• Care for adult patients; pediatric assignments are reserved for permanent staff
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in Neuro and Cardiac assessment and intervention
• Float to all Medical Surgical units and ICU to manage Medical Surgical overflow patients as needed
• Perform IV access and medication administration independently, as no IV team is on site
• Collaborate with on-unit support staff including Tele Techs, Charge Nurse, HUCs, and PCTs

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of Registered Nurse experience
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Proficiency with Sunrise Allscripts EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PALS certification preferred
• Experience in a high-acuity telemetry or cardiac monitoring environment
• Familiarity with variable nurse-to-patient ratio environments based on acuity levels
