Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit, with a patient population that includes orthopedic and bariatric diagnoses
• Administer and manage medications using the Pyxis medication dispensing system
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using EPIC EMR
• Float to other like units or nearby campuses as needed based on census demands, performing only tasks within demonstrated and documented competencies
• Complete required pre-assignment modules and annual compliance requirements within designated timeframes

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN License (or compact license eligible for SC practice)
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse; first-time travelers must have a minimum of 3 years of experience within the specialty
• Must live more than 50 miles from the contracted campus to be eligible; candidates residing 50–99.9 miles away may be considered at a reduced rate; candidates under 50 miles are ineligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with orthopedic and/or bariatric patient populations
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Experience working in a float or multi-campus healthcare environment
