Key Responsibilities- Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as a member of the interdisciplinary team
- Deliver direct patient care in a Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry setting during night shift hours
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care
- Utilize the EPIC electronic medical records system to accurately document patient care and clinical findings
- Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed
Required Qualifications- Active Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry nursing experience required
- Valid driver's license required
- Current skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission date required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system
- First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply
