Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Days)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit in accordance with facility protocols and standards of practice
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, identifying and responding to cardiac rhythm changes
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and progress using the facility's electronic medical record system

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Arkansas or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of Telemetry experience required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic medical record system required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Med Surg / Telemetry setting
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills in a fast-paced inpatient environment
