Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Float Pool)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week | 16-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a float pool setting, rotating across Med Surg/Telemetry units and ER Tele Holding (Med Surg/Tele patients only)
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Deliver evidence-based nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patient populations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and optimize patient outcomes
• Adapt quickly to varying unit environments and patient acuity levels as required by float pool assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience
• Ability and willingness to float to any Med Surg/Telemetry or ER Tele Holding unit as assigned

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a float pool or multi-unit environment
• Strong telemetry monitoring and interpretation skills
• Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced, varied clinical settings
