Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type
Contract (13–20 Week Options) | Night Shift | 4x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit during night shift hours
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data for assigned patients
Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Complete required facility modules and competency assessments prior to and during assignment
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Medical Surgical Telemetry
Active and unencumbered Ohio RN license or valid Compact State license — must be in hand at time of submission
Active AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification — must be in hand at time of submission
Active AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification — must be in hand at time of submission
One professional reference required from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
Clear background check; no open cases or license hits will be accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
Permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience obtained within a single facility setting
Demonstrated proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition
Familiarity with pre-start and annual module completion processes in a travel nursing environment
