Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit following established clinical protocols and standards
- Monitor and assess patients with telemetry needs, interpreting cardiac rhythms and responding appropriately
- Maintain a patient assignment ratio of up to 1:6 in accordance with unit guidelines
- Float to Medical Surgical Telemetry unit as needed based on staffing and patient census
- Document all patient care activities accurately using Cerner EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Pennsylvania
- Minimum 1–2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Minimum 1 year of recent travel nursing experience
- Telemetry experience required
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working in a high-acuity Medical Surgical Telemetry environment
- Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new clinical settings and unit workflows
