    Job Title

    Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Nights)

    Location

    Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide general medical administration of medications and patient care on a Medical Surgical unit serving General Med Surg, Post-Op Surgical, Bariatric, and Oncology patients
    • Perform remote telemetry monitoring in coordination with a monitor technician, including oversight of cardiac rhythms
    • Deliver post-operative patient care in accordance with unit protocols and scope of practice
    • Maintain a patient ratio of 1:6, with a surge plan of up to 1:7 maximum
    • Float to Medical Surgical Telemetry unit as needed
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Minimum 1–2 years of Medical Surgical experience
    • Minimum 1 year of recent travel nursing experience
    • Telemetry experience required
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
    • Proficiency with Cerner electronic health records system required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with Post-Op Surgical, Bariatric, or Oncology patient populations
    • Familiarity with remote telemetry monitoring workflows and cardiac rhythm interpretation
