Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Contract | Travel | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general medical-surgical nursing care including medication administration and comprehensive patient care
- Deliver post-operative patient care for surgical and bariatric patients
- Support oncology patient care needs within a general Med Surg unit
- Perform remote telemetry monitoring in coordination with a monitor technician
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:6, with a surge plan of up to 1:7
- Float to Medical Surgical Telemetry unit as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1–2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Minimum 1 year of recent travel nursing experience
- Telemetry experience required
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with post-operative surgical and bariatric patient populations
- Familiarity with oncology patient care in a general Med Surg setting
- Experience working in a unit with remote telemetry monitoring workflows
