Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Registered Nurse Certifications: ACLS, BLS; TNCC preferred Must-Have: Must be willing to care for COVID-19 patients. Ability to work in a diverse environment. Description: This is an ICU nursing position in a high-acuity environment. The unit has 26 beds with a patient ratio of 2:1. All care is provided by registered nurses. Staff includes RNs and unit secretaries. Advanced equipment utilized includes ventilators and IV pumps. Documentation is done using a specific clinical system. Nursing shifts are 12 hours, from 7:00 to 19:00, working every other weekend. Holidays are required as per the schedule. Nursing staff may float to other medical-surgical units as needed. Patient experience focuses on hourly rounding, bedside reporting, and compassionate care.
