Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Critical Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active Nursing License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CCRN preferred Must-Have Skills/Experience: 1 year of CVICU experience after orientation completion. Strong critical thinking skills. Description: This is an opportunity for a Registered Nurse specializing in Critical Care. The position is in a unit caring for adult and geriatric patients. The facility has an 8-bed ICU with a patient ratio of 2:1, occasionally 1:1. Common diagnoses include CABG, TAVR, STEMI, and carotids. Equipment used includes Impella, IABP, and CRRT. The electronic health record system in use is Cerner. Weekend hours are required every other weekend or as determined by facility needs. There are no on-call requirements for this position. Preferred experience in CVICU is encouraged. The ideal candidate will have strong critical thinking skills and teamwork capabilities. All applicants should have an Associate Nursing Degree or higher. The dress code is professional scrubs in any color.
