Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) – Florida

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Stuart, Florida

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 13-week contract with potential to extend up to 18 months. Float capability required across multiple campuses within a 20-mile radius. Block scheduling not available.

Requirements:

• Active RN license (pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 18 months of MICU experience required; 2 years preferred
• Current BLS (AHA or Red Cross) and ACLS certifications required at time of submission
• NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start date
• Epic EMR experience required
• Proficiency in dysrhythmia interpretation and management, arterial line management, central line care, ventilator management, ABG interpretation, and BiPAP/CPAP management
• Experience with vasoactive and cardiac drip titration, continuous IV sedation, and multisystem organ dysfunction/failure management
• Two professional references from direct supervisors or nurse managers
• Negative 10-panel drug screen plus nicotine/cotinine test (smoke-free facility, strictly enforced)
• COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Completion of required pre-start modules (6-15 hours, non-billable) with time-sensitive deadlines
