Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Intensive Care Unit Duration: 12 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year preferred License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs - Experienced in managing critical care patients Description: Position is for a Medical Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse. This role requires a night shift of 3x12 hours. The nurse will be responsible for providing care to critically ill patients. Patient ratios are expected to be 1:2 during the shifts. Holidays and weekends are to be worked as part of the rotation. The facility's staffing expectations include floating between like units. Prior experience in a similar setting is desirable. Certifications such as ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are required. Candidates must be comfortable with various critical care skills. This role involves managing patients on advanced therapies and monitoring. No first-time travelers are accepted for this position. All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission. Approval for time off will be based on facility needs. Please ensure your readiness for the proposed start date. Emergency response assignments may be required during hurricane season.
