Seven Healthcare is seeking an experienced Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) Travel Registered Nurse for a reputable hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. This assignment offers a competitive weekly rate of $1,950 based on a 3x12s Night shift schedule. Key Responsibilities of the Travel MICU RN:
  • Provide continuous, high-acuity nursing care to critically ill medical patients
  • Monitor hemodynamics, manage ventilators, drips, and advanced life-support equipment
  • Identify and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition
  • Collaborate with intensivists, hospitalists, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Educate patients and families regarding conditions, treatments, and care plans
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR
Requirements of the Travel MICU RN:
  • Active Tennessee RN license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
  • BLS and ACLS required
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Medical ICU experience
  • Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills
