Travel Nurse RN - Medical Intensive Care Unit - $2,203 per week in Salem, MA

Job Title: RN ICU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12.5 hours Experience: 2+ years of continuous MICU experience required License: Active Massachusetts RN License Certifications: AHA BLS & ACLS Must-Have: - Must be able to read telemetry strips - Floating required to Medical/Surgical Units - Telemetry competency required Description: This position requires 36 hours per week, nights, and every other weekend. Responsibilities include caring for a diverse adult patient population with diagnoses such as substance abuse, severe psychiatric conditions, DKA, sepsis, GI bleed, respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, renal failure, and cardiogenic shock. Attendings and residents are present in the unit 24 hours a day. The unit consists of 20 beds in a Medical/Surgical ICU. RN to patient ratio is 1:2 or 1:1 with high acuity; 1:4 or 1:5 when floated to other Medical/Surgical areas. All patients are considered. The charting system used is EMR.
