Travel Nurse RN - Medical Intensive Care Unit - $2,432 per week in Milwaukee, WI

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MICU Duration: 14 weeks, with the possibility to extend Shift: 3rd shift, 3x12 nights, every other weekend Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum years of experience required; recent travel RN experience preferred, with MICU and critical care float experience License: Current state Registered Nurse License or a multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC Certifications: - American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) - American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Must-Have: - Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to the area of employment - Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice acquired through completion of education at an accredited School of Nursing Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This individual demonstrates competency in the delivery of care to a primarily adult population. The RN will provide care and management of patients in need of critical, intensive care. Responsibilities include performing patient assessments, developing nursing care plans, implementing nursing interventions, and evaluating the outcomes of care. The RN may need to float to other ICU units, step-down units, or acute care units as needed. Every other weekend is required, and no call is necessary. EPIC Tele testing is required during the first week, with two attempts to pass. Navy scrubs must be worn during shifts.
