Travel Nurse RN - Medical Intensive Care Unit - $2,515 per week in Easley, SC

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in the field License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - EPIC EMR experience (minimum of 1 year) - Ability to care for ventilated patients - Experience with continuous IV sedation - Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias Description: Shifts are either 3x12 or 4x12 nights. Weekend coverage is required, typically every other weekend, but may change based on need. This position is for 13 weeks but can be extended to 26 weeks to assist with holiday coverage. Floating may be required to similar units or other facilities based on needs. All required documentation will be managed through an electronic system. All candidates must have at least one year of EPIC experience. The positions require ACLS and BLS certification, along with a valid RN license. Travelers are considered with relevant experience but must have a strong clinical background. The unit will review first-time travelers based on their professional experience. The patient ratio is 1:1 to 2, depending on the shift. Daily census is approximately 7 patients. The unit supports adult and geriatric populations. Interdisciplinary support services include physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, and more. Additional equipment and special procedures are in use for patient care. All staff will be required to float to other units if necessary.
