Job Opportunity – Adult ICU Registered Nurse – South Carolina

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Upstate South Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3x12 or 4x12 schedule; every other weekend with flexibility based on unit needs; 13 or 26-week assignment available to support holiday coverage

Highlights:

• Adult ICU experience caring for critically ill patients including ventilated patients requiring continuous IV sedation
• Daily census of 7 patients with 11-bed unit; patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2
• EPIC electronic medical records system with minimum 1 year EPIC experience required
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, physical therapy, and more
• Floating may be required to similar units within the facility or to other regional facilities based on census needs
• Pre-assignment modules are reimbursable up to 16 hours and completed prior to start date

Requirements:

• Active South Carolina RN license
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
• Competency in care of ventilated patients, continuous IV sedation, and interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• First-time travelers will be reviewed based on relevant experience
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions); COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Must reside 50+ miles from the facility (distance requirements apply based on specialty and shift)
