Travel Nurse RN - Medical Intensive Care Unit - $2,859 to $2,947 per week in San Luis Obispo, CA

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized, high-acuity care to critically ill adult patients with complex medical conditions, including sepsis, respiratory failure, multi-organ dysfunction, and metabolic disorders.
• Monitor and assess patients’ vital signs, hemodynamic stability, neurological status, and overall condition.
• Administer and manage critical medications, including vasoactive drips, sedatives, analgesics, anticoagulants, and antibiotics.
• Operate and troubleshoot life-supporting equipment, such as ventilators, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), and intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP).

Qualifications:

• CA Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS required
• Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification preferred
