Description:
Position available for a Registered Nurse in the Medical and Oncology Intensive Care Unit.
This is a full-time opportunity with rotations on day and night shifts.
The unit serves patients with various critical conditions, including respiratory distress syndrome, multi-system organ failure, septic shock, GI bleeding, complicated pregnancies, oncology-related issues, renal failure, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
A focus on family-centered care is essential.
The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2.
Candidates are expected to have experience in managing ventilated patients and providing complex care.
The unit also cares for patients undergoing transplant procedures and those requiring specialized oncology treatments.
Strong preference will be given to applicants with prior travel experience.
Weekend shifts are required.
Please be aware that candidates may float within the hospital as needed.
Robust interdisciplinary support is available, including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.
